Vica Andrade was born June 16, 1972 in Palmares, Costa Rica as Ana
Virginia Arguedas Solis. She worked her way up to become one of the
most celebrated Costa Rican television and modeling stars and the
co-host of the show, "Al Fin de Semana." She first appeared as an
actress in the latter part of the 1990's, mostly in television series,
including TV mini-series, such as "Noi siamo angeli" in 1997.
Vica became well-known throughout the Latina world with her inclusion in a
number of reality shows, including the 2003 Mexican version of Big
Brother VIP. She has also been a presenter, and has appeared in "La
Escuelita VIP" (2004). In many of the series, she has just appeared as
herself. More recently, she was in the news as a distressed mother,
when her nine-month old son required an operation to correct a
progressive eye defect.
