Veronica Portillo

Veronica Portillo was born in Phoenix, Arizona on November 27, 1977, of Cuban ancestry. Brought up in Orange County, California, Veronica attended the University of California, where she was interviewed for the reality show, Road Rules 8, Semester at Sea (1999), a show that would vault her to an unexpected level of national recognition and provide her with unlimited amounts of life-changing experiences. When she returned, she resumed her studies at Berkeley, eventually graduating with a double major in Sociology and Women's Studies.

With her popularity in demand, she resumed her Reality Show career path, again with Road Rules Real World Challenges. Feeling at home with her cast, she was a top competitor and lead her team to win the final mission. She continued to appear on many MTV Specials and Challenges, including "Inferno 2", and has since become one of the more recognizable reality show competitors, having generated the image of a beautiful woman with a villainous slant, mostly because of her strength of character and outspoken nature.
