Patricia Manterola

Patricia Manterola was born in Mexico City, Mexico on April 23, 1972 as Patricia Manterola Carrion. A singer, actress, and model, Patricia has appeared in Latin soap operas, after beginning her career as a singer in the group Garibaldi (from 1989 to 1994). She is well known for her starring role in a Spanish-speaking remake of Charlie's Angels. She has appeared on talk shows in the USA (Oprah) and also had a role in the soap opera "Apuesta por un Amor" for which she earned a best actress nomination.

Patricia had begun her career at the age of nine in the musical "Ana, La Huerfanita" (Annie). Given the chance to contribute to a record for a television show, "Juguemos a Cantar," she bolstered her career by attending dancing and singing classes, before her breakthrough meeting with a local music producer, Luis de Llano. He was responsible for founding the group, Garibaldi, which would ultimate vault her to new heights. Patricia, like many popular actresses, has been a solid supporter of animal rights, and is an active member of PETA. As a vocalist, her Spanish hits have included, "Baile Conmigo" (Dance With Me), "Sera Por Ti" (To Be By You), "Nina Bonita" (Pretty Girl) and "Olor De Amor" (The Scent of Love). Patricia has also appeared in feature films, "City of Lost Souls" and "Carman: The Champion."
