Ninel Conde

Ninel Conde was born Ninel Herrera Conde on Sep 29, 1970 in Toluca, Mexico (the state capital of Mexico State in central Mexico). After studying at the Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza, Ninel found work on television, in such shows as Al Derecho y Al Derbez and Gente con Chispa. She also appeared on the silver screen in Mexico, appearing with great Latina actresses Silvia Pasquel and Gabriela Goldsmith. It wasn't long before she was winning awards, including the Sol de Oro as Best New Actress as well as a Palmas de Oro.

Ninel expanded her artistic output to music, releasing her self-titled first album in 2003. After nearly losing her life in an airplane mishap, Ninel survived and resumed her work, participating in the third edition of the reality show "Big Brother VIP" in 2004. As well as acting and singing, Ninel has been an outstanding model, who continues to be one of the more popular celebrities in her home country, and like most celebrities, she is often in the news, most recently for her rumored romance with millionaire boxer-politician, Jorge Kawaghi. An admirer of American actresses Meryl Streep and Demi Moore, Ninel may one day find an opening into the Hollywood scene.
