Melyssa Ford

Melyssa Ford was born Melyssa Savannah Ford in Toronto, Canada on November 7th, 1980. The daughter of a West-Indian father and Caucasian mother, she has Norwegian, African (Yovo), and Russian heritage. After experiencing acting in primary school plays and more significant roles throughout her high school career, Melyssa redirected her interests to criminal psychology, and seemed destined for a career in CSIS (the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.). Her future opportunities took a dramatic turn when she was discovered working as a part-time barmaid in a nightclub by a director of music videos. One thing lead to another and she soon had landed herself contracts to appear in hip-hop videos for Jadakiss ("Knock Yourself Out") and JayZ ("Big Pimpin"), as well as many others. The opportunity soon lead to magazine photo shoots and a position as a hostess for Lifestyles of the Phat and the Phabulous.

In 2000, Melyssa Ford appeared in the Showtime series Soul Food, and then a small role in an action movie, "Turn It Up," (2000) along with Ja Rule and Pras. She was then featured on the cover of Black Men's Swimsuit Extra and was an Ebony Rider Calendar girl for the 2002 edition. But Melyssa was no mere brainless model, and had soon landed a position as a monthly columnist for Smooth magazine, (dating and relationship advice), under the nickname, Jessica Rabbit. She continues to be sought after for magazine spreads and calendars. The brainy beauty's star continues to shoot upward with each passing year. .15hqqw.
