Majandra Delfino was born Maria Alejandra Delfino in Caracas,
Venezuela on the 20th of February, 1981. A dancer and actress, she is
most known as a singer and songwriter, and also a skilled instrumentalist,
who appeared on the scene as an actress before the millenium. Nicknamed
Majandra by her sister, who was unable to pronounce her full name,
the attractive artist has roots from Cuba and Venezuela. Appearing first
in American television series, most notably, Roswell, she sang in a few
episodes. This led to her releasing songs onto the Internet, which
brought much attention, and eventually led to the release of her first
album in 2001, The Sicks. The album was a on her own label and never received
airplay. Her second album, Tarte, was released in 2007 and promoted
through the Internet, including through her website at majandra.com.
