All we know about her origins is that she was born in 1979 and had an
early inclination towards acting. As a teen television star, she was on a
Uruguyan beach when she was discovered at the age of only fourteen, a
trend that has happened more than once in South America.
The youngster redirected her goals towards fashion after a couple of
successful fashion shoots, and she soon established an International
presence on magazine covers, that included Harper's Bazaar, GQ, and ELLE.
Alternating between Europe and the United States, she eventually relocated
permanently to NYC. Subsequent campaigns for Victoria's Secret Catalog
and Ralph Lauren eventually vaulted her into Maxim's top 100 Sexiest Women
for 2001.
