Lorena Herrera

Lorena Herrera was born on February 18, 1967 in Mazatlan, in the coastal State of Sinaloa, Mexico. After her family moved to Mexico City when she was just a child, Lorena pursued a modeling career, where she eventually became highly successful. Appearing in ads in Mexico and South America, she soon won the "Look of the Year" contest in her homeland. This opened the doors to a film career which would eventually blossom into more than four dozen feature films. Like many fashion models and actresses, Lorena was equally successful in Telenovelas, acquiring a role in the hit series, "Muchachitas." It was then that she was given a role in the major hit telenovela, "Dos Mujeres, Un Camino," where her character's appearance was brief but momentous. Although her character was killed off, she had had sufficient time to catch the attention of fans throughout Latin America as an attractive sex symbol.

Lorena has since moved into the realm of recording artist, releasing a number of Mexican CD's and touring her homeland and the United States. She has modeling for numerous men's magazines and has appeared in many sensual calendars. As a major celebrity, Lorena has had her share of scandals, being linked romantically to many men. On the Univision show, "El Gordo y la Flaca", she was required to share a bathtub with the star, "El Gordo," Raul De Molina.
